We try to avoid bad hair days at all costs. Although there’s always mornings when our mane is running wild and we can do sweet FA to tame it. But the other 364 days of the year we like to treat it with love, and that means a lot of products… Masks, deep conditioners, protective sprays, scrubs, you name it, we’ve tried it! So we decided to do a quick round up of our fave hair-care brands (also because many of you asked about them), that we rely on daily to keep our hair in check. Here are 10 hair-care brands that work for all different kinds of hair and all different kinds of budgets!
1. Hask Hair
What they do: Affordable, natural hair-care that’s free of any nasties
Price range: $5 to $10
What we love about HASK is it doesn’t matter what your hair type or particular concern they’ll be an entire range of products that’ll fix it for less than $10, which is pretty insane! Plus, all of their products are free of sulfates and parabens, and are packed with exotic oils to nourish and hydrate your hair. There are 18 different collections in total; we’re currently using the Argan Oil Collection and our hair is SO soft and shiny. Read our full review of the collections here.
2. OUAI Haircare
What they do: Easy-to-use styling solutions and hair-care products for It-girl hair
Price range: $12 to $40
Founded by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, OUAI is the It-girl essential. Inspired by the classic ‘French girl’ vibe – we’re talking that perfectly undone chic texture – the range has been our go-to for years. From leave-in conditioners and divinely smelling hair oils to incredibly formulated supplements and dry shampoo, Ouai just knows what your hair needs! We also love that it’s a little bit luxe without being crazy-expensive. Oh, and for all of you guys wondering, it’s pronounced ‘way’.
3. Pump Haircare
What they do: All-natural hair-care for fuller, thicker, healthier hair
Price range: $20 to $30
Made and designed in Australia, the entire Pump Haircare range is sulfate-free and environmentally-friendly as it’s made from all natural ingredients. The brand was founded by Aussie-based hairdresser Natasha, who was trying to find a solution for her own personal hair loss as a result of endometriosis. We tried the products and were instantly impressed with the results: the thickening mask literally thickened our hair, and the all-natural heat-protection spray made our hair look and feel amazing. The products are all crazy innovative, from bond-building maks, hair balms and smoothing serums to holographic hair sprays and glitter foams for festival season!
